A photo I took yesterday, just a few minutes from the house. I was going to post it as a straight photo, but couldn't keep myself from playing with filters. There are two combined.

It was a blustery day and the grass kept whipping around... I think it can be seen even in this manipulation!

Canon 6D, Photoshop CS5.

Can see the thumbnail, but, once on your image's page here.. nothing.

Not even the dreaded blank white square.

The less than desirable.. nuttin'. Nada. Zilch for pixels or anything.

So.. onto the list it goes.. for now.

I have my fingers crossed that once approved things might resolve.

... ...

And just out of curiosity.. what file format did you upload?

I see it plainly.
This dappled light image I think is ideally suited to this type of artistic editing and has resulted in a very attracrive picture. The windbown grasses give life and movement and the placement of the large foreground tree trunk adds perspective.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Ok, so.. nothing changed after being approved.

So..

Taking a peek at the "View Page Source" info (Firefox) ... ta.. and da!

And..

+favs for me.

And..

I got my fingers crossed that my pea brain remembers why I have a blank image page in my favs.

Thanks Lyn. :-)

Les, it's OK for me here in my Safari browser the next day -- it was a PNG I uploaded. Same as all others, but the only difference I can remember is that after calling up the upload page, I hesitated for longer than usual. So the site was waiting a while for me to upload something... which it did without problems.

That's all I can pinpoint.

Weird. :-)

PS Maybe you could use the pepper plant's rope of cling film instead of a string... that way you'd definitely remember.

PPS And it was the second image I loaded that night. That's the only other 'clue'.

PPPS I also had the Firefox browser open at some point, so it's possible I accidentally uploaded the images via Firefox rather than Safari... but that's not certain.

@Tootles: Thanks for the additional information. Although, as some have alluded to.. methinks it is a browser issue for the most part.

(And Firefox here, in case anyone is wondering.)
