I danced with this one for almost 10 minutes. He was gracious enough to keep circling overhead as I was turning in circles in the middle of a green. I got 50 or so shots of sky and some out-of-focus shots of the gull but this one was my crowning glory.

Brilliat pic. I just watched "The Birds" last night so I am a bit wary of gulls at the moment!

I think this is one of your best..if not just for endurance & dancing!! Amazing shot of a graceful bird...you know how fussy models are..this one just wanted you to get her 'best' side & you did! There is nothing I don't like about this photo except that I didn't take it!! :))
Excellent capture Josh...great job of staying with her until the right pose!! A solid 10 & on my desktop right now & thank you!

I’m surprised you didn’t get dizzy and fall over! But I’m glad you persisted because it’s a terrific shot. He seems to be giving you the evil eye, where you standing on his potato chip?

Well Josh, it just doesn't get any better than this! How I would love an animation project of your capture escapades though. ;)- At least you type descriptive enough to give me that glimpse and giggle.

Patience and effort bring beauty with the camera! Great shot. I know, it's hard to catch birds flying!

This is a fabulous shot. I bet it took you ages to get this but he looks very magestic even if they do have a bad reputation :) 10/10

One in a million shot. I can even look the bird in the eye. Grrrrrreat capture. But, I can just picture it. There's a guy with a camera going round and round; round and round; round and round; round and round; round and round....(I'm getting dizzy). After shot number 50, he is carried off on a stretcher. Lot'a work Josh, but you "got'er done"!
