Well, whenever you visited the Pacific NW it looks like you took some wonderful photos. I love fences and this one is awesome. You chose a very good angle, and you made sure of those flowers showing well too. I think this post must have had a gate on it at one time, with that wire and ring hanging like that. And the way the post really shows more against that lovely sky is perfect. Very lovely photo. Verena
Q: Why did the blonde get so excited after she finished her jigsaw puzzle in only 6 months?
A: Because on the box it said From 2-4 years.
Q: How do you confuse a blonde?
A: Ask her to alphabetize a bag of M&Ms.
Q: Why are dumb blonde jokes so short?
A: So brunettes can remember them.
Yes, I am with John, I like horizontals and verticals aligned unless they create drama for the photo. This is an execellent angle and great choice of subject. The vertical nature of the pic as a whole might lower your CI as some find it awkward for use as a desktop. I might have lightened the post and fence a bit to provide greater contrast with the grass and sky. Very evocative pic... recalling an older time in an unchanging area.
Excellent camera angle choice and I really like the added color from the oxidized fence sections. The aged fence post wood has a lot of character and probably should have had sharper focus. Nice feeling of serenity here.
