This is Lyon Slide Falls east of Redding California. Notice the reader enjoying the peace and quiet. This is a popular place with the swimmers, note the steps cut into the trunk. Enjoy!

I like how the water is positioned amongst the trees, and how the trees are spider-like in appearance. Maybe a bit of brightness added but overall this is a great shot.

In thumbnail view it's rather weird to see the tree trunk (since you don't know what it is until you open full view or read the description). It does look a bit dark (almost like a cloud may have gone by)

I will admit that I took a quick peek at your other work, so, this is not a one shot deal here. You have a very good eye, as they say. The composition is strong, really nice balance. Good detail and clarity. The exposure? I can deifnitely live with it, for me, it adds to the tranquility of the setting.

Quite simply, I like it. Nice work and I look forward to a visit to your galleries ... how ... how, can anyone resist a treasure trove of waterfall images?
