Nice capture! I like sun lighting on those background trees and that frozen little river. Blue sky adds also nice touch to image. Very nice forest view at winter

Where was this taken? What state? I like the way the sun is kissing the tops of the fir trees and lighting them with a golden warmth...quite the contrast to the coldness of the frozen lake/pond that we see.
The abundance of fir trees reminds me of the Pacific Northwest. Let me know if my guess is correct.
I also like he low angle of the shot......I don't feel as though I am looking down, but across the water.
