Picture I took up near the California/Oregon border. This is "Old Highway 101", now just a backroad and where people dump their garbage into the stream underneath the bridge.
A nice pic...moss there too. It makes me sick to see what people do...even in remote areas...they leave their garbage everywhere and expect someone else to pick it up then tell their friends what caring conservationists they are.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Wow, you made me want to take a walk and sit down at the same time haha. I want to walk by this bridge and I want to sit on its' moss. That is So sweet. I really like your approach with this shot- the elemnts you chose to incorporate work wonderfully. Great pic ;)
I was looking at the map at 101 and I see that it does follow the ocean most of the way but that there are some parts of it that are much further inland. We have the same situation on the east coast, and I recently found out that it had to do with the government closing down the coast roads during WWII for securities sake. I'm wondering if that's what's happened here. This is a poignant picture you've given us with lots of room for thought.

Wow! I just saw this one in the voting booth and I had to leave a comment! I really like the point of view and the colors. It's just really sad what happens there... some people have no respects...
I can't believe that people would dump in such a nice place. You have to wonder who are these people and how do they sleep at night....it's too early for me to get on my soapbox!
