I like what you've done with the watercolor effect. I also like the colors of the village in the background and the two strollers on the beach. Unfortunately you're doing the same thing in this shot that I used to do. Some very talented photographers on Caedes told me that the amount of sky should be minimized unless it adds real drama to a shot. Inasmuch as this is basically a clear sky with no thunderhead clouds or billowing cumulus clouds reflecting a dazzling sunset, it's basically negative space and diminishes the impact of the walkers and the village. Compositionally I would have zoomed in on the action and cropped most of the sky and some of the dead space on the right. Additionally centering the subject is generally considered the last best alternative; so I would have moved the walkers to the right side like this.
