Perhaps some more details about where you saw this plant (is is marshland or tropical) would help identify it. Nice splash of red against the off-focus background. However, there is more background than subject, which reduces the impact of the flower in your image.

Might I be so bold, as to suggest a crop? And perhaps, look for a portrait or vertical presentation.
And maybe look at your camera's manual for a Macro mode and get closer next time? If at all possible, that is. (<-- Future reference stuff, here ... and just some thoughts.)
Don't know what or which image editing software you have at your disposal ... so, going to forge ahead and suggest Photofiltre. Freeware, this particular version and quite good.
Having said, I am unawares personally if any sharpening tools are available. And I say this as I, in my humble opinion of course ... think you could sharpen this one up some. Some. To get better delineation of the bugs. Contrast adjustments may serve the same end.
Last thing, maybe ... 'cause, I ... er, tend to get random somewhat and babble on ... add in the camera make and model in your accompanying narratives for a bit. Provides a leaping off point for more tips and advice to come your way.
