This in one of the pictures I took On one rainy day. This is not the original picture. I have tried to increase its brightness since the original picture is dark. But the problem is that if I try to make it brighter it fades the dark monsoon clouds above. In the original picture the clouds are more defined but the picture is very dark. I took this picture because I liked the road curves into the unknown. We kinda get a feeling that the road ends ahead. but it takes a sharp right turn to head behind the small hill which is visible at the right of the picture... It did not know which category to place this :-)

Blind curve and fog. That makes for nasty driving and great photos. Good work.

I like the contrast of the vivid green roadside and the colorless road, mountain and sky. I also like the all the detail in the description. I wish you had included where the shot was taken. This would be a nightmare if it was a country where I would have to drive on the left side of the road.

At first I was like this is another one of those boring road shots. Glad I opened the full image, because its not!
The composition is PERFECT. It's the kind of image that would make a great poster for a long wall, if it only was wider. BUt hey, lets not let that bother us. This rocks!

I think it is a really nice composition and I love the way you captured the clouds and the fog!

Good composition. The green is a bit oversaturated for my tastes. In balancing light and dark areas, have you tried looking at an HDR tool, such as DCE Tool's Redynamix? Someone mentioned it to me and I've found it to be very useful in situations where one section is too light or dark compared to rest. Another "trick" is to mask the clouds and only light the rest with a tool like Photoshop.
