I would agree. The top panes of the windows don't add to the pictures and cropping would draw the focus more on the subject. Also the horizon needs to be horizontal. Good picture overall. Nice mood.

Somehow I liked the top panes they add to the feeling of endless sky, sea and space. Reminiscent of times gone by, when maybe another young women stood by that same window, hoping against hope that her love would soon return to her. Wow life without cell phones... She might spend the rest of her days wondering if that dark brooding sea had forever taken him. I love the grays and the mood you captured.
