I took this picture last summer (of '03) on a vacation to Europe. This is a park somewhere in Ireland between Dublin and Dundalk where these kids were out playing soccer. I'm not religious, but the cross looks great indeed.

Nice composition - I like the way the pattern on the path echoes the form of the cross. Good work :-)

Just for your information. The cross is commenorative of Pope John Paul II's visit to Ireland and where he held outdoor Mass for close to a million people. The place is a Dublin park, very large and called Phoenix Park. Did you happen to see the herds of deer while you were driving through. It helps to know where you are when you are taking a photo. This is a very nice one.
