A nice b/w capture of this city scene. I like the red umbrella, though it could be toned down slightly in brightness. Good job.

Andreea - The red umbrella contrast in the b/w scene is a real nice concept. For my taste, it is a bit too bright and needs to have the edges feathered to blend it into the scene. I look forward to more creative shots from you. Thad

Love the idea. Love the grand array of lines you've used in the image. The lack of texture in the umbrella reduces the impact of that element. I don't mind the umbrella being so bright, if the texture and detail was still in it. On the other hand I can imagine an intense dark burgandy umbrella having an interesting quality as well. Bravo for the idea and for everything that works so well in the shot.
