This image is taken recently at Ehrenberg Castle ruines, Reutte, Austria. The local king, sitting at this castle, on a hill - used to collect taxes from the goods passing via an important trading route named "Claudia Augusta". The route flourished during early Roman ages.

Great colors, nice shadows and the perspective is good. Either there is a little bit of loss of clarity or I need to get my eyes checked..and it is that time of year!! :)

Gorgeous shot with beautiful colors and excellent composition! I like how you can see through all the portals. And the narrative really adds to the pic.
