This is the digitalis Purpurea (finger cap herb (vingerhoedskruid)) Hairy two-year plant which sows spontaneously itself very. Large flowers, oval to elongated of form and to the base rather strongly hairy. Flowers mooring ropes turned with a tubeform crown in to one side. Original carminepink of colour, of within spotted. Altitude 100-150 cm. flowering time juni-juli. Origin: West-, Southwest and Central Europe, North Africa.

Gorgeous flowers Lien. You've done an excellent job on the framing as well. I love how the rectangles reduce in size and hone your eye in towards the center of the pic. Great work!

Hij is schitterend Lien,
De haartjes die in de bloemen zitten zie je zelfs. De kleur in prachtig en je frame is ook mooi. Ze worden ook steeds beter.

Beautiful flowers. These are new to me. Love the speckles on the pedals. The frame treatment you gave this composition is stunning. It inhances the flowers to perfection. Nice work.

These have become naturalized in Oregon and make a bright spot of color along roadsides in the summer. You have done an excellent job of photographing these to show the inside of the tubular flowers so very well. Nice framing also.
