This is on the Kleine Scheidegg. The mount which you see is the Eiger and is 3970 meters high. The mount lies beside the Jungfrau. The photograph has been made in 2003, and then lay a lot little snow on the mounts.
This great image makes me want to yodel! :) What a neat place. I like how you have the ominous mountain in the background of a bustling tourist destination. Good work.
Hey Lien
What a powerful mount joh. But it is to bald top. You have also been above LOL

If I remember my German, kleine is small and Jungfrau is a young maiden no? This is a very awesome capture of this majestic mountain Lien. You did a masterful job here and it's an excellent post. Thanks for sharing it wiht us.
All the wonders you seek are within yourself. Always glad to see visitors at My Gallery and thanks for your continued kind words and constant support. Anita
What an interesting little slice of life. I love all the activity. The mountain, towering in the background is awesome with the snow blowing off into the air. Great capture.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel.

I agree with everything others have said, a really great shot. There's just one thing that bothers me a little, the tourists in the foreground. But I suppose they're part of the scenery... :)))
It is a beautiful photo....and even if the tourists make this less than perfect...they also add perspective to just how one might feel in aspect to the over-whelming size of the mountain. Beautiful!
