More sci-fi with the help of Apo 3D. The impression of speed caused by the foreground blurring gave me the idea of the view from a craft speeding through alien tunnels, hence the title.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
I think ... you should have pimped this one some more.
There ... bold ... in your face ... commentary.
Ok, my usual semi-nonsense aside ... being a bit redundant with this phrasing when it comes to your works Paul ... however ... 'cool concept' is the operative phrase once more in my mind.
Annnnd ... in all seriousness, the subtle visual suggestions of 'controls' ... lead me to think that you could have gone a bit more in bringing out those facets of your piece here, as well as, adding some 'more stuff' (<--- my own catch phrase of late :oP).
Viewing screen, perhaps? Some sort of additional framing provided by the perspective of revealing more of the interior of the craft hurtling through the lair? Maybe?
Nice fractal, btw.
Here ... for your perusal ... don't know if have seen some of DigitalFx's images ... think you might like his 'more stuff'.
Uhm ... can I exchange the forthcoming lump of coal in my stocking for something better ... now that I, ahem ... this time ... turned up my monitor for viewing??
:oD
Oopsies ... my sincere apologies Paul. I am just now noticing those exact facets that I thought I so astutely pointed out in my drivel above.
It's perfect. Previous commentary retracted.
The link to Peters' works was just to put you in touch with a fellow enthusiast. I can't speak for Peter obviously, but I can't count the number of times I have seen his helpful insights into PS in commentaries, that I have never ever come across elsewhere.
If there is someones' mind that I would want to tap for information, it would be him.
Let's rectify this a bit more ... +favs for me. No, no ... not a sympathy vote by no means, I really like the 'screening' effect/visuals you incorporated into your piece here along the borders.
This is a bit redundant, however ... nice ... nice work Paul.
