Love at first site. ha ha. Was going to crop it more, but I really liked the flower in the background. To answer the questions being asked, I mostly cropped out a lot of green/dark 'space' that was behind the flower. What do you think?

Not seeing what the full image looked like before cropping, I can't say how it should be cropped, but deciding to leave the blurred background flower was a good idea because it adds depth to the image without distraction. Nicely captured, Adrienne.

would have focused on the flower with the bee, there is enough background to get depth i think, or have there been more additional flowers in the original ?
