I might have tried to get the horses feet in the image (perhaps wait to get that kind of shot) maybe a different backdrop if at all possible. But otherwise I have nothing to comment other than you did a nice job. ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=

To blur the background and keep it from distracting us from the fine view of the horseman and his horse, you could try a wider aperture setting. Wonderful color capture here.

Good for you with trying people shots. Main comment here is that it's tilting terribly to the left - it needs rotating. Agree with the comments on the background too. Keep going!!

The idea is lovely, it needs a post-production amendments.
I also suggest to enlarge the picture to give more breath to the knight on both sides.
