This is a nice capture with a good, black background. A bit of post-editing would make this beauty 'pop' even more. Don't be afraid to try some editing.
Gardenia's have a unique creamy color as well as texture and you have captured that.

I took this photo with a little digital camera. I found a program that would edit pictures and I did as you suggested and you were so right. Just increasing the contrast made an awesome difference. Thank you for suggesting this to me. I will be using the editing program a lot from here on.
