From the title I guess it's some kind of bee? Excellent close-up with details of his furry appearing body. He looks fierce to me, with his mouth open ready to bite. He has a pretty purple color for such an ugly guy. I like the background blue & green colors - makes this guy look better! I appreciate meeting this bee, but doubt if I would use him on my desktop Brian :^)

Wow, very nice. I have ordered some macro lenses for my camera so I am very interested in studying other macro shots that folks have done. The focus on this is just spot on perfect. I am impressed how clear the image looks. My only gripe would be it is a shame the bee was not on a more color different background to help highlight the bee a bit more. However, what can you do? When you have the perfect shot you have to take it. You have a good eye. Keep up the great work.
