Hering posing as if we weren't even there. He posed for a long time. I guess he was hungry. Taken with my Kodak Z650 on Landscape Mode at about noon. Taken at Wheeler Wildlife Refuge in Decatur.Alabama.

Very nice composition. This is much better with his head up - he's not quite so hidden. The lighting is still a bit on the bright side and might be toned down a little to pick up more detail. The critter is sharp and the angle is perfect. The little smidge of blue water in the right side of the frame adds nicely to the overall image. Nice shot, Frank. anne :-)
