There must have been something of interest on that pavement. I followed one today that wouldn't land anywhere! Nice colors and actually the background looks good with them.

Hey Frank, I think this is a moth, look at my pic of "glow moth" and you will see, I found him on the pavement under my garage light and moved him onto the grass, for my photo.
