the whole image has a silvery tone which i really like. the deep red color of the rose is enhanced by the tone. very nice. jen

I concur with all the comments above, and I an enamoured with the colors presented here, and technically you've got it all there...however, I would have liked to have seen this most perfect of rosebuds placed on the composition in a different way...a different perspective, because in this case, even though you've treated the background very well, and there is a lot of interest there anyway, the subject might be better treated if it were placed anywhere but in the center. but I'm being extremely picky. This post is lovely and your Honey is to be congratulated on her green thumb :)PJ

The lighting in this is just great. The rose looks healthy and well cared for and it is a beautiful deep red. Congrats to you both for an excellent work.
