Got up early this chilly morning and intended to take some sunrise pictures like usual but I just couldn't seem to find a good location that was close to the house. So I spied rays of the sun shining through the pine trees across from my brother's yard. This was taken with my Nikon D3200 with the 18-55 mm kit lens. It does fairly adequately for an inexpensive lens. I hope all of you had a great day and I hope all is well with you.

Some days, you don't need to go far to find the shot. Lucky

for you the rays of sunlight presented themselves within easy

reach and that's good considering the cost of gasoline.

If I tried this shot, Frank, it would be so full of noise that you'd have to wear ear plugs. Nice job all things considered. If you really want to go after the sun beams, fog, the smoke from a major wild fire, or the dust from a dry dirt road are the place to be. With two years of drought, this will be a good year for sunbeams during a wild fire.

Surprisingly nice colors and no serious overexposure. All and all, I'd give it a solid 7.257.
