A bearded iris captured at mid day using a polarizing filter with a 70-300mm lens. The sun was bright enough to handhold although the camera and lens feel like they weigh a ton. A mono-pod would have been desirable but I stood my ground and planted my feet holding my camera as solid as I could and it helped that the shutter speed was good and high. I like the effect a longer zoom lens gives. This is simply re-sized and nothing else.
