I reworked this photo to simulate the actual conditions of the shot. by keeping the apeture open as long as i did it made the shot brighter than actual conditions

Wow! What this version looses in foreground detail, it certainly gains in ominous power in the clouds and lightening. Very nice rework, and well worth the effort. Ricky.

Where we have come from has absolutely no bearing upon where we are capable of going.
While you were doing some rework, I would have liked it if you had removed those darker spots that's visible above and to the left of the lightning bolt. If you had, I would have given you one more point in the voting booth. Otherwise, a great picture!

An amazing composition. I'm still waiting to get something like that. A few blemishes could be removed to make it even cleaner, but who cares. It is dramatic and sharp. Thanks for sharing!!
