This is 2:30 pm..Hit by an Electical storm which has now been going on for a good 30 mins..I've seen storms before but never one that has lasted this long.That's my car on the right getting it's annual wash..My neighbour was visiting and it was funny to see her hide in our linen cupboard...It's now almost 5pm and the thunder is still rumbling on...I wonder if it's because I bought a new camera...Maybe I should sell it ;) ...R.

Your right... it's all your fault. Send your camera to me and save yourself. We get those kind of storms all the time here in Florida. We had a tropical storm named "Debby" visit us this week. Today is the first time I've seen the sun in 5 days.

Everyone wants that camera, Richie. Maybe you should hang onto it for at least a little while. Canon finally came out with the Ver.2 update for the 7D and mine is on it's way to NJ.

I knew that your buying and selling cameras would someday get you into trouble, Richie. I always assumed it would be some sort of financial problem or an unsatisfied buyer. I never imagined that the Almighty would come after you with plagues. By the time you read this, the thunderstorm will have passed and you'll be inundated with frogs and then locusts. Best if you just ship your cameras to me.
I just got back from San Diego where I was visiting friends and family. Upon my return I discovered that I had 145 friend comments to write; so I decided to give up rather than spend a month trying to catch up. Please forgive me as I hope the Almighty has forgiven you for your sinful and wayward ways.
Great shot of a nasty looking storm. I miss having "weather". The days will all be pretty much the same here until October. If I'm not mistaken, I spotted two flaws in the image. You have some striations in the sky which I occasionally get when I have a particularly noisy sky and use my noise reduction software. Additionally, there's a rectangular area on the far left right above the trees that is a little too evenly discolored. All and all, it's a fine shot. If I tried this shot, I would have been struck by lightening.
