What a magnificent doorway - not only catches the eye but I'm guessing there is nice fragrance as well from all the roses.

Mind the thorns as you enter this doorway. I like the stone textures you captured. I know one artist on Caedes who effectively layers them into his works. Not long ago, I spent a day shooting walls and textures in Venice. Not sure what I'm going to do with all of them...but I have them.

Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")

Apparently not open so often. The roses look pretty.

How lovely - it looks like a picture book. Roses round the door. They will be sorry they panted that red Valerian on the left though - I have been trying for years to rid it from my garden. It spreads everywhere and strangles rose roots :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

A colorful entrance with the flowers waving to you to come on in. A nice view of this abode.

Lovely study in contrasts: the dark, smooth-surfaced door against the rough stone facade and the abundant flowering plants. Great shot!
