This picture seems blurred. However I found that I did not mind that at all. The Sea Nettle was so awe inspiring to look at, and so well composed in the frame of your photo that it compensated for that flaw. Also, none of the detail of this creature has escaped your lens. I also like the 'Time' magazine graininess of the shot. When considered overall I think this is a great photo.

It's better to have a living dog, than a dead lion.

I am not touched by this photo, perhaps because I have no knowledge of sea life. I like how you captured the light of this creature. Overall I would give this a 2 or 3 in the VB.

I've not seen one of these up close before. It's very interesting and unusual to see. I believe this is what is commonly known as a jelly fish. It looks like you have captured it well here, aside from the blurriness that is mentioned in the comment above. Could this be because it was taken behind a glass aquarium? I like the angle at which it was taken, so that all of the detail can be viewed. I also like the colors of this Sea Nettle, it shows up very well on the black b/g. I look forward to seeing more =)

I have seen a sea nettle/jelly fish up close before and I think this is an awesome picture. I absolutely love the colour against the black background and I think that the blur of the tentacles *is that what they're called?* adds to the idea that this creature is moving. Keep up the good work and don't stop trying new things.

It is slightly blurred which takes away some from it, but the bright color of the jelly nearly makes up for it. Nice picture, and thank you.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

A very interesting capture; I just wish the image was crisper to really show off the beautiful detail.
