Excellent capture, Pierre! I tried to photograph the pandas at the San Diego Zoo, and had no luck at all.

i think that this is just a beautiful shot. the wild is nice but if you wouldn't have told i don't think that anyone would have known. great capture.

you have made a fabulous image of a beautiful animal!
and the details are excellent, too.. plants in the background and the bark of the tree.. i like the composition and the lightning.. it had been a sunny day :)
also, all the greenness adds a certain wild spirit to this image, like the panda is not being kept under captivity, it seems like it's peacefully resting under the tree in a place far away which hadn't been touched by a humans.. i must say, a good photographer can add a whole background story with a single shot ;) kudos..and thank you for sharing this excellent work! :o)
