For Jimbob, who seems to love lighthouses. This was taken on the windest day I've ever been out in, with the spray flying over the point ... in Yarmouth, N.S.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Hi Winona,
I am sorry I am late commenting on this fantastic picture. I don't know how I missed it. This is so stunning. The sea, the rocks, the sky, and the beautiful lighthouse, make for one amazing shot. Every thing is perfect in it, including the lens flare for an added touch. Thank you for posting this, with me in mind. I really appreciate it very much. It's in my favorites as of now.
Hello Winona....With all them dangerous rocks one can see why they built a lighthouse....The composition is superb and I like the angle that the scene was taken....Here in Cornwall we have a dangerous coastline and we have one or two lighthouses around...Look in my gallery and you will find a picture of a cornish lighthouse....All the best to you.....Mick.
