I like the shot. The lighting isn't as dramatic as some other Lincoln photos on this site, but I still like it. It would've been cool to see a low angle shot (to make the statue seem bigger than it already is). Only minor complaint I have is to level the shot.

I agree about levelling the shot, but I think it's nice that you got the words above him so clear. The simple colors work well for a desktop background.

Yes I like it too, how fortunate you are to have seen this wonderful tribute to Abraham Lincoln. I would like ti shot from farther below too, so that it would seem much larger...or maybe if some people were near it. I love being able to read the words, have never seen them before this.
