New Ferry is two or three miles upstream on The River Mersey from "Glorious" New Brighton. The river is still very tidal here and the Mersey Estuary is getting much wider. This is a view looking south-east towards south Liverpool and beyond.

Wonderful shot of the River at low tide; although I love to see boats floating, it gives someone like myself who lives at a River without this much fluctuation an idea of the differences in our world.
