This is the amazing West Window in Liverpool's amazing Anglican Cathedral. To give this image some scale, each of the three panels is 52feet high (16m).
These are one reason why I love to go into churches and cathedrals!...those stained windows always have a different 'story' to tell!.....good one for the contest
Beautiful stained glass work. I can appreciate the work of this artist as I see so many varied colors in this work. A great entry for the current contest Steve. Good Luck.
I like the way the window is enhanced by the dark interior. Beautiful colors in the window as well, and good luck in the contest, this is a worthy contender. tigs=^..^=
It certainly is stunning ! A fine capture Steve - makes a wonderful contest entry.
Maybe you have some more photos of this amazing Cathedral ? My mother was confirmed there - I think about 1930. Long before this magnificent window was created.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
