firstly, I like the idea, and the colours of the flowers work well to make a creative image. The DoF is very narrow, which is not a bad thing, except that there are two points of focus in the image; the tips of the rose's petals, and the edge of the daisy's. This has the effect of pulling the viewer in two directions whereas a more selective use of the focus could have served a better function in drawing in the eye to a specific point, either the rose or the daisy. The rose peeping from behind works well, but perhaps less of the daisy would enhance that effect even more.
