I was walking through the woods when I met this, strange - hairy - colourful - caterpillar which I had never seen before.

This is very beautiful..the caterpillar has such pretty colours..and you captured this very well...can you just imagine what a gorgeous butterfly it will become one day???!!!!!!

Hoi Eric, I have no idea what species this is but it is beautiful. Haven't seen any caterpillars myself this year. Yours is a great capture.
