I used the eyedropper tool to grab the white from the table cloth below the flower vase, then the select tool (magic wand) to isolate the upper background, and finally the inkwell tool to fill in over the people in b.g.
The hardest part was working closely with the sponge/burn tool to blend around the borders of every petal of each flower. I was working at about 300% of normal, and it took HOURS to get right!
GREAT image. I absolutely love it! The work you put in was well worth it. The general vibe- clean, funky, lovely.... kind of reminds me of IKEA. like this vase should be on top of some glass art deco windowsill.
Have a great day,

Absolutely gorgeous! And thanks for your "quick tutorial" above. I have it saved - that was alot of work you did for this image - but this turned out so well, that I'm sure it was worth the time. Super clarity and nice details - the petals seem to be coming towards the sceen-alittle 3D action. These blooms are stunning on the white background, and the colors are vivid and lush. There's such a good glow to these beauties. Thanks Tracy, for this glorious view :*>
