I like the texture you used for this creation, John. The lighter colors you used for the face ... I think, represent earthly things while the dark color represents the unknown or the universe as a whole. No matter what our nature is (a tree, a cloud, water, human, animal, a star) ... we are all part of 'the cosmos'. Magnificent work.
I'm sure if it wasn't for the size constraints of the site that the Cosmos would be much, much larger. Or at least I'm told it is. Amazing what they're discovering with Hubble nowadays. Another fantastic image and creation John.
