George Gershwin suffered with a malignant brain tumor which eventually took his life. He was just 38 years old.

Gershwin inspired me very much. The concept of 'That Lucky Old Sun' was inspired by 'Rhapsody in Blue' ‐ not influenced, but inspired.

I never knew Gershwin died so young. His music is timeless. This is perfect for the B & W theme. Mona Lisa eyes are following all who gaze upon it !

Very familiar with Gershwin's piece...I remember hearing and seeing it in the Biographical Movie from 1945 that I saw with my mom on TCM a few years back...She couldn't get enough of the old flicks!
