I captured this image earlier in the year at a location called Stair Hole,Lulworth Cove Dorset UK ... This formation is almost virtical and is awesome to see (approx 10mtrs high) ... the Stair Hole was formed approximately 10,000 years ago by the awesome powers of a river and the sea. It continues to evolve behind a narrow Portland Stone entrance as the softer Purbeck, Wealden, Greensand and Chalk exposures are eroded.

I dont like the angle it makes it look fake and to distorted almost unreal; however, at the same time that is exactly what makes this picture unique! I like the abstaract nature of this image. the tonal range is good and is sharp to still make it pleasant to the viewer he who enjoys abstract images. other ways great image! thanks for sharing!

An image is a door to your soul, your imagination is the key that opens that door.

This is a fascinating geological phenomenon, but a little disorienting to me without more surrounding information. Thanks for posting, and welcome to Caedes!

Mares eat oats, and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy; a kid'll eat ivy too, wouldn't you?

Remarkable, it looks almost man made. Having seen the wider view you posted I know that that just isn’t the case :-)

There are three colours, Ten digits and seven notes, its what we do with them that’s important. Ruth Ross
