Located in Fort Davis, Texas, Fort Davis is one of the best surviving examples of an Indian Wars' frontier military post in the Southwest. From 1854 to 1891, Fort Davis was strategically located to protect emigrants, mail coaches, and freight wagons on the Trans-Pecos portion of the San Antonio-El Paso Road and on the Chihuahua Trail. This is a beautifully preserved outpost that makes you feel like you were transported back to the 1800s. If you are ever in South West Texas, you have to visit this area. Nice idea providing us with the link to your other pics. I have been to Texas and I know that it can be quite faded in its appearance, but I think that this upload could stand a bit of saturation of colors. Then again, it might take away from the message you are sending out with this photograph.

Just my thoughts.

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

Thanks PJ. I appreciate the feedback. I am definitely a novice when it comes to photography so all input is appreciated.
