What a great job of composing!!! Leads the eye right into scene and the contrast of colours/textures makes this great..bravo!

Hi Charles, you certainly like your shadows.
I love the shadows on the fence itself; nice and crisp.
The shadows on the ground are also acceptable, but I find my eyes drawn to the woods in the background and that slightly ruins it for me. ( I prefered your pic' of the shadow through your front door ).
That said, this is still a good photo' to me.
Thanks for sharing and please keep up the shadow studies.

Great warm colours !! One suggestion - as a desktop wallpaper it is great, but since most people have their desktop icons on the left, what I often do with images is to mirror them so the left side of the image is clutter free. Helps make the icons clearer. great work though !!
