Driving down the Natchez Trace Parkway is always a wonderful experience. I have made it a practice to drive "the Trace," in every season. It was a gloomy day, but I enjoyed these hay bales in a field on the parkway. I had a lot of fun working with this image. For more info re: the Natchez Trace Parkway go to: http://www.nps.gov/natr/

Really nice shot. Almost a ying yang effect there with the green grass, dead trees, dark clouds with the blue sky behind. As exceptional as this shot is, the title caught my attention. Many trips on the trace in my past. : )

I took a trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway back in 87 but never saw a superb scene as this!

Well done, truly an excellent shot. I have got something about hay bales...the darkness of the clouds gives the image a very dramatic atmosphere.

I love a freshly baled hayfield, with the bales scattered seemingly randomly. Something so charming about that. I also love the NPS' scenic drives...I think I need to add this one to my list of drives to take! Thanks!
