Almost looks like she's sticking her nose in the air. Comments/critiques are most welcome!

Its a good shot, but needs a lil help, to bright on the butterfly, an strenghing the colors would go a long way.

pretty nice. The tongue and eyes are visible, and the flower is colorful.

Danielle - Those Philadelphia blue-bloods tend to be a bit snooty and turn up their nose at the rest of us. :-) A nicely framed shot, with the green-leaves backdrop and the butterfly bush flower cluster below. The sunlight on the butterfly is a bot too bright, perhaps due to the light colors of the lower wing. You got excellent clarity in this shot. Thad

I like the clarity of the shot. The background is kind of busy. Not much can be done about that except maybe increase the blur. The curved antennae are an interesting feature too.

I agree - her nose is in the air and it is a great pose you captured taking advantage of the vibrant contrast of the flowers.
The texture detail in the wings is great, and the image just reminds me of a beautiful summer day as you have captured the atmosphere beautifully. Perhaps if the butterfly had been placed a little to the right it would have given it some room to flutter off into :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
