Kids are always cute. This can be better with even more cropping. Half the distance from the right border to the subject, and the same at the bottom. Crop the top border down to where just a small slice of the white roof is showing in the background. Also, where her head meets the grey/cement building, her hair blends with some dark substance on the building, and makes her head appear misshapen . A little cloning of the cement will correct this easily, and put maximum attention on the child. It's well worth the touch up, Danielle.
A nicely unposed picture of a precious little girl. Nice to see some good expert advice above which I am sure others will benefit from as well. I like the softer focus as it gives a dreamy look to the picture.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I would listen to "snapshooter87". That guy really knows his stuff. I'm only beginning to understand the intricacies of composition from him. He has an intuition and vast knowledge. To me the shot looks great.
