I would've cropped this shot a bit so that some of the distractions (cars, tree etc...) aren't stealing the eyes focus from the sunset. It also seems that the sky is a bit over exposed....

I too would have cropped much tighter on the bottom and adjusted the exposure - you got the makings of a good shot.

A photograph is all about the light, and the light in the middle of this image is magical indeed. The hazy orange glow spilling over the trees and house, and the brilliance of the sun and sky above, are wonderful. It would probably have been too much to ask, especially at this time of the evening when conditions change by the minute, but I'd like to have seen this area fill the whole image, either by using a long lens or by moving closer.
