You have mastered that glassy look, and I wish you'd give me a lesson or two on how to do that :) I didn't notice it at first when I saw this in thumbnail, but it's worth a closer look to see the beautiful colors and shapes that you captured behind that "seeing through a glass" approach. The flower, however clear it is, and it is...in my mind is swallowed up by the size and scale of the background. It is a pretty, complimentary color against the green, but I feel like I want to put my hand out and bring it closer to my eyes, so I can see it better. I'd also like to hold it because I'm afraid it's going to fall as there is nothing to support it. Perhaps you could crop in a little closer and put a frame around it to make up the difference if it doesn't maintain its clarity.... my two cent's worth :)PJ
Simply gorgeous Cindy .... a pretty little flower. I love the glassy look & the colors work so well together. Looks great on the desktop ... very nicely done.
The flower looks like it was shining. It also looks that it has some kind of a halo :D That contrast betweet the orange and the greens works well. First it looked fine that the flower is in the center but the "rules" kinda work (for me at least) in this case. It would be more interesting if the flower was somewhere else. Very nice :)
I really like this! Firstly the glow around the flower, to me it shows that it might be small in size, but is extremly beautiful. Secondly is the black border around the image that kind of fades in, gives a memory look to me. Thridly the how you have blurred out the leaves to bring out the flower more. Fourth, the rich colours. And lastly, how you have combined all these things together to make this stunning image! I love it, it is differnet for you. Keep it up! Great job!
