i cant make out the lighting in this, its a tad strange. is it night time photo with artificial light? if so maybe more light focused on the subject would be nice methinks. :~)

I like the different lighting, the background doesn't look real, but the branch in the foreground looks very real. Very neat effect here, it makes for a unique capture. Well done Cindy!

I had the same trouble. I sat here staring at the background trying to make it seem like it was outside. At first I thought we were inside and were looking at a wallpapered wall, but then I finally looked at the subjects, and saw their great clarity and other aspects, and realized it had to be outside. Well, anything that can keep me that long in a pic is well worth the trip. Gorgeous colors :)

I love the tones in this one, though I think cropping some of the dark on the left out would help. The rest is just glorious.

i like the color on this one. it's different than most that we see. the arrangement and display of flowers are just right.

love the subject, the composition, the focus & blur of background, the light and darkness - all done exceptionally well. though if only the north-west light on the stem was a tad stronger, picking up more of the detail and color of the flowers. but overall, great capture!

Reminds me of a Japanese garden, great composition and lighting. Pictures like this are the reason why you have been, are and always will be one of my favorite artists on this site.
