Nice picture with those long shadows. You've got a good eye for details, I like that, but I wonder why you didn't zoom in.

Not knowing what the area looks like de-iced, from my perspective, it looks like it would make a cool skating rink!

The light is wonderful but more important, wonderfully captured. I agree with jzaw though. Eliminating the top would make the light even more beautiful.

have you got other photos from that day too?
if I was to make a constructive comment about this photo is that one could crop it somewhat differently, for instance eliminating the uppermost portion thus simplifying the whole image for the eye
theres no _right_ way to do this but youve got lots of scope to experiment
