Ewa was gracious enough to give me her permission to use her photo November Impressions III to do something special for my parents. My parents recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary & I've been searching for a way to show them how special & what wonderful parents they really are. So.. This is for you mom. For being my mother earth, my comfort, my safety net, For teaching me how to be a survivor, how to be creative, how to see the beauty in everything & everyone around me, how to appreciate nature, & how to enjoy life and those you live it with. This is for you dad. For being my hero, my guardian, my protector. For showing me how to be strong, how to respect & be respected, how to laugh-even at myself, how to speak up for myself & speak my mind, & that if you want something you have to be willing to work for it. This is for you both for showing me that you love me know matter what, & that I can do anything I put my mind to . Thank you for being the kind of parents I can look up to, so that even after my divorce, I know that a healthy marriage with love, respect, trust, & laughter is still possible because I see it in yours. So this is for 30 years together, & many more to come. I love you both. HAPPY 3OTH ANNIVERSARY!!!

You are a very fortunate young lady to have so much respect for your parents. It seems that is often times a rarity in today's world. What a good feeling comes of having the opportunity to tell those we love just what we feel about them. You are a very grateful young woman too and only goodness can come from such gratitude. My very best wishes to your parents on their long and propsperous life together and I wish them many more years together.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It is so obvious from your words that you love and respect your parents very much. I think they are also most fortunate to have a daughter who can and does express that in such a beautiful way.
Thanks you for sharing that with everyone and best wishes for many more happy years together for your parents.

This is a fantastic picture. I love the sun's rays beating through the trees, and the people give it a sense of perspective. The trees are absolutely huge but you wouldn't know that if the people weren't there! I would love to see this in colour also!

Hello Jessica,

My dear, I am in awe with the written words of a very grateful daughter, a very appreciative little girl, who loves her parents deelply! And, you know Jessica, your love for people, is not only seen here, in your expression of 'love of parents', but througout Caedes!! I have read many of your unselfish regard for others, and so, my dear, your mother and father have really, indeed, taught you well, the very essence of life, as you have discovered, and are in fact, living it! I am very impressed at the gratefulness in your heart, for having parents such as these. I applaud you Jessica. Ewa's photo is simply and wonderfully beautiful! A lovely combination of photo and words, I would say. Sincerely, Marilyn
